Our approach to food choices at TCF is pretty simple. I could go into great detail about macronutrients (carbs, fat, protein), but I will save that for another time. At TCF, we look at food as a means to aid in performance and recovery. I want you to think of yourself as a sports car, and the food that you eat is simply fuel for your body. Would you put regular unleaded gas in a Ferrari? That is what we do to our bodies when we eat junk/fast food. If you put bad fuel in, would you expect the car to perform at a superior or even at a satisfactory level? You may be able to pull it off for a short period of time, but eventually a poor diet will catch up to you.
We are all athletes. Everyone has an “inner athlete” inside of them. Regardless of age, it is still there, and it is my job to help you find it. At TCF, we educate our “athletes” on how to make healthy food choices for themselves rather than having individualized meal plans. Each choice should always be based around quality protein, vegetables, and hydration. In doing so, we become more consistent with our approach to food, and consistency is vital to any nutritional plan. When we eat like this, we give our bodies the vitamins and nutrients that we crave and fuel for performance and recovery.
MAKE IT A GREAT DAY!!!
